Vietnam Cooperative Alliance receives the First-Class Labor Medal
On January 19, with the witness of the Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, Vietnam Cooperative Alliance celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment and received the First-Class Labor Medal of the State President.

In the last 25 years, the cooperation economy and cooperatives have continuously developed, the operation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system is constantly growing up. By the end of the year 2018, the operation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system was continuously stronger. Up to 2018, there were 22,456 cooperatives, 74 cooperative unions and 103,435 cooperative groups, twice as much as the year 1993.
The President Nguyen Ngoc Bao said that for the past 25 years, Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has organized 05 General Assemblies, each of which was a historical milestone marking the development of cooperation economy and cooperatives and the organization and operation of the Viet Nam Cooperative Alliance system.

Looking back the 25 years of history, Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has always aimed at the development of the cooperatives, cooperative unions and its members to serve to promote the process of strengthening, renovation and improvement of the effectiveness of the cooperative sector. VCA has become a representative, a firm base for the cooperation economy organizations.
The Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue appreciated, noted and published the merits for the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and its members for what they have gained over the years.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that Vietnam Cooperative Alliance should continue to promote its activeness and accountability to contribute more to the cooperation economy and cooperative sector.
At the celebration, the Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue awarded the first-class labor medal of the State President to Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

The Deputy Prime Minister also donated the other noble rewards of the Communist Party and the State to the groups and individuals who had many outstanding achievements in the development of cooperative sector.
