SAVE THE DATE: “Cooperatives for Development” Global Conference 14 – 17 October 2019
The world conference on Cooperatives for Development and General Assembly of the ICA will be held in Kigali, Rwanda.
We will show the contribution of cooperatives in different sectors and regions to sustainable development, including economic, social and environmental. The vital contribution that cooperatives make to the SDGs cover each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, may lead to the implementation of policies and programs that foster the emergence or consolidation of cooperatives around the world. In addition to cooperators from around the world, it will bring together other civil society actors, development agencies, policy makers, institutional partners, high officials from government, representatives from international and regional organizations, researchers, and all those who feel concerned by developmental issues.

This global event will be organized by the International Cooperative Alliance under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Rwanda and with the support of the cooperative movement of Rwanda.
