ICA General Assembly 2022 to take place in Seville
The next ICA General Assembly will be held on 20 June 2022 in Seville, Spain. The event will be hosted by the Spanish Confederation of Worker Cooperatives (COCETA).

The ICA Presidency and Board of Directors will be up for election at the General Assembly. More information on this will be made available in the coming months.
Spain is home to 20,000 cooperatives, which employ over 600,000 people. They can be found in all sectors of the economy and in every corner of the country.
A member of the ICA since 1999, COCETA works to support the creation and development of worker cooperatives, highlighting their important role in providing stable employment as well as generating wealth and social cohesion.
ICA President Ariel Guarco said: “We thank COCETA and the Spanish cooperative movement at large for offering to welcome us to Seville in June 2021. It is important for the cooperative movement to meet to discuss ways in which our different sectors can rebuild better together post pandemic. Following our World Cooperative Congress in December 2021, our General Assembly will be a good opportunity for us to engage with each other and plan for a better future for all.”
COCETA President Luis Miguel Jurado said: “Worker cooperatives played a key role in maintaining jobs during the COVID-19 crisis. We look forward to welcoming ICA members to Seville and showcasing the difference that cooperatives make in our country.”.
