2022 membership additions: ICA welcomes VME Coop from the UK
VME COOP from the United Kingdom joined the ICA as an Associate Member in February.
A leading provider of software to retail cooperatives in the UK, VME is a cooperative owned by 36 worker members across Europe. It is the retail technology partner of choice to 71 of UK grocery cooperatives and aims to become the largest supplier for Grocery electronic point of sale (EPOS) software.
VME joined the ICA to support its work to help the movement meet the challenges posed by global for-profit firms by facilitating the sharing and insights gained by cooperative customers and their international membership to coordinate a joint cooperative response.
The ICA has now 312 member organisations of which 271 are full members and 41 are Associate Members from 110 countries.
